New releases from Taos, Vacheron Constantin, Piaget and more
Pietro PillaIt looks like we have a new trend taking off. Blue is now being replaced by burgundy, grape, and plum… Or at least that’s what happened in this week’s releases. And what shade pairs better with a warm olive tone? Piaget offers just that in a charming pair of ultra-thin Altiplano models. To round off this week’s selection, we have some interesting collaborations that use pocket watch movements and previous location-exclusive editions becoming available worldwide. Discover them all and enjoy the reading!
Taos Tuxedo & Gala
- Taos, started in 2024, continues its Textiles collection with two piece uniques made with the Oliver Vaucher atelier, taking over 1,000 hours each to be completed.
- The satin fabric of the Tuxedo is made of four layers of fragments of silver leaf, held together by up to five firings of translucent grand feu enamel.
- For the first bringing together five crafts on a single dial, the Gala shows itself in a jubilation of engraving, Grand Feu enamel, gem-setting, engraved mother-of-pearl, and feather art.
- Price: from CHF 140,000.

Piaget Altiplano 910P & Ultimate Concept Tourbillon
- Piaget rethinks both the skeleton 910P and the 2016 world record-achieving tourbillon in an olive green and yellow gold palette.

- Following the same colour scheme as the 910P model, gold finds its place on the dial, as the case is made from the ultra-rigid cobalt alloy required to achieve extreme thinness.
- Price: To be confirmed.
