Rich, warm colours are on the agenda for this past week, with Formula 1 driver Pierre Gasly unveiling his own signature Moser models, Doxa celebrating Seddiqi’s anniversary, and Breitling presenting a new ladies’ collection after almost three years. But it’s not just about design: there have been more than a few technically impressive novelties as well, such as Audemars Piguet with their final chapter of their RD program, an incredibly elaborately decorated complicated Montblanc and Jiro Katayama developing his most complicated Ōtsuka Lōtec to date, among those. H. Moser & Cie Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly

  • Moser strengthens its F1 connection with two watches designed with the help of French driver Pierre Gasly.
  • Both models share the 5N red gold Streamliner case, which is paired with a chocolate brown fume dial.
  • The one on the rubber strap is part of a 100-piece limited edition, while the one with the full metal bracelet is limited to only ten, and it features a ruby at ten o’clock, to mark Pierre’s racing number.

  • Montblanc pays tribute to “Le Secret du Bal des Ifs” with its latest limited edition.
  • France’s most legendary masquerade ball’s opulence is rivalled by just the watch itself, combining traditional high horology, marquetry, hand-engraving and champlevé enamel.
  • The beating heart of this model is the patented Exo Tourbillon, and it will be paired with a music box crafted by Elie Bleu and Reuge.

Breitling Lady Premier

  • Breiling announces the Lady Premier as a completely new women’s collection for the first time since 2023.
  • These seven new timepieces are a modern reinterpretation of the 1940s Premier Fantasies models.
  • Two sizes are available: a 32mm model with a quartz movement and a 36mm model with an automatic movement.

  • Affordable timepiece titan Timex has unveiled Timex Atelier, a higher-end sub-brand.
  • Timex is describing its inaugural Atelier model, the Marine M1a, as its first luxury watch.
  • Designed by Giorgio Galli, it’s a capable mechanical dive watch with a surprisingly minimalist aesthetic.

Hamilton Khaki Field Auto 38mm Call of Duty Special Edition

  • Hamilton, a very popular choice for collabs both with Hollywood and the video game industry, partners this time with Call of Duty – arguably the world’s biggest video game franchise.
  • A limited run of 5,000 pieces, the watch is based on the Khaki Field Auto 38mm with a black dial, and it will be found both IRL and in-game in Black Ops 7.
  • On the solid caseback, you’ll find the Call of Duty emblem engraved.

  • A. Lange & Söhne releases two new 40mm Saxonia Thin models with glossy black onyx dials.
  • Available in the brand’s proprietary Honeygold alloy and in platinum, each is paired with a gloss black alligator strap with a case-metal-matching pin buckle.
  • Production is limited to 200 pieces for each metal.

Ōtsuka Lōtec No. 9

  • The Ōtsuka Lōtec No. 9 becomes by far the most expensive watch by the young brand, but also the most complicated.
  • Within the in-house-developed SSGT calibre (with some Unitas bits and bobs), Jiro Katayama squeezes in jumping hours, retrograde minutes, a tourbillon, and a chiming complication.
  • Like Katayama-san’s other models, this one is still exclusive to Japan.

  • Hublot has launched a 5-colour attack for the Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 5-Day Power Reserve, previously only available in white ceramic or carbon.
  • Four fresh ceramic colourways are available: red, black, yellow and sky blue, and for the first time in Hublot’s history, each owner of the limited edition collection will be able to choose an additional bezel of their choice from the range.
  • Additionally, a fifth and final piece has also been unveiled in full black sapphire, completing this 100-piece limited edition collection.

  • Doxa and Seddiqi celebrate the latter’s 75th anniversary with a special edition of the SUB 250.
  • This 75-piece limited edition features a cherry red dial and Eastern Arabic numerals on the stainless steel bezel.
  • The stainless steel, 40 x 42.9mm case is water resistant to 250 meters, and on the caseback it bears the engraving: “Where Legacy Meets Luxury”.

  • London-based brand Swan & Edgar announces the new Horizon collection, inspired by the White Cliffs of Dover during the Battle of Britain.
  • At 12 o’clock, the gold-plated triangle and the red-tipped second’s hand pay tribute to the RAF’s wartime Battle of Britain plotting clock.
  • Two options are available: one with a smoked blue enamel dial and the other with a white quartz dial.
